India Bounces Back With Record Selling Of It’s 1st International Confirmed TradeShow Amid Covid 19

February 2021 will witness India’s first International Expo which has sold more than 83 % of Space as on date

More than 83 % Space is sold out at ‘Aero India 2021’, scheduled to be held between 3-7 of February 2021 in Bengaluru.

The Exhibition is hailed as the first confirmed ‘International Face to Face Show’ in India to be held in the 1st quarter of 2021, after the Covid 19 shook the entire world.

Aero India Show, started in 1996 is Asia’s biggest Air Show and Aviation Expo biennially held in Bengaluru at the Yelahanka Air Force Station. The International Exhibition is Organized by the Defense Exhibition Organization under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India”.

Aero India is perhaps the first confirmed International Fair selling it’s space in full swing. As on 30th September 2020, The Event had sold over 83 % of it’s total exhibit space, 18 % of the space with advance payments and over 75 % of the space provisionally booked.

This reaction shows not just a gigantic return of FaceToFace Exhibitions, yet additionally the proactive approach of the Government of India to reinforce it’s leadership in Asian Exhibition Sector. However, it is yet to be seen whether the Government will clear air for the return of private shows in Unlock 5.

As per the SOP prepared by Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA) and endorsed by India trade Promotion Organization, the number of individuals for an Exhibition that can be permitted in any given Hall, Booth and washroom at any particular time may be moderated such that the latest Ministry of Home Affairs /Ministry of Health guidelines on social distancing are complied-with, which currently translates into a 3.25 sq. m per person in the halls. (10,000 sq. m hall should have a maximum of 3076 persons; a 5,000 sq. m hall should have a maximum of 1538 persons) at any given point in time.
