M Quaim Syed is a Mumbai( India) based Serial Entrepreneur with widest Professional experience of more than a decade & half in the Trade Fair & Events domain.

The EXHICON Group founded by him in 1996 is the only company in India that provides the full gamut of Products and Services for the Exhibition, Conferences and Events industry.From in house infrastructure for large graph Events to integrated marketing solutions,Syed’s forte lies in effectively assimilating various project aspects and ensuring operational efficiencies and delivering optimum value for all stake holders.

Syed, along with his team, have been responsible for many of the largest as well as niche Trade, Community, Public Live and Festival events execution across the country.

He is credited to have created India’s largest pillar- less Exhibition Venue, executed record breaking events such as Mahakumbh at Haridwar (largest congregation of people in the world), Global Kokan Festival,& Lay Tarang, (World’s largest stage for a Live Event with a Guinness Record),launched E3 Expo in 2009 – India’s only Tradeshow for the Trade Show Services Industry. The E3 Expo completed its 3rd Edition in 2013.

Syed also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of publications from his group and associates, such as TradeFair Times (English Monthly), Desh Ki Maryada (Urdu Daily), YourHonourTimes (Hindi Weekly) & Imamia Business Review ( English Monthly)

A very active member of the Indian Industries Association (IIA), Syed has also played a leading role in the formation of Indian Event, Exhibition & Conference Services Association (IESA); constituted Award for Exemplary Contribution to the Trade Fair Sector of India, and spearheaded the establishment of Imamia Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Syed has been conferred with several accolades, and awards,including the MICE Promotion Awards by UP Tourism, he was a semi-finalist at the prestigious Economic Times Power-of-Ideas (2011 edition) from over 16,000 participants.
