While the Exhibition Industry is in dire need of the support from the government during this revival period.

Maharashtra is again the epicenter of the sudden surge of the COVID 19 cases, Mumbai
the state capital, also second largest host city of Exhibitions both international and domestic is facing the heat. The last minute denial of the permission to OTM in Mumbai has further escalated the uncertainty in the state.

OTM had to postpone due to fresh guidelines imposed in Maharashtra which has disallowed gathering of more than fifty people. Another mega exhibition PrintPack has been postponed to December 2021.

Numerous International Shows like PCIM Europe, Game Developers Conference, Sensor+Test and MIFF Furniverse among others are going Virtual.

Few of the face to face Exhibitions planned are the 3rd Edition of Smart Home Expo to be held in Nehru Centre in Mumbai, the 51st IHGF to be held at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, and 28th Convergence India to be held at Pragati Maidan.

Council of Indian Exhibition Organisers (CIEO) has taken the initiative to urge the Government for support the industry, a signature campaign has begun to collectively represent to the Government on key concerns faced by the Exhibition Industry.
