Mumbai, 31 October 2026: Exhicon Events Media Solutions Limited has appointed Mr. Nilesh Kumar Dubey as Chief Executive Officer – Venue Development, effective 26 October 2026.
His first mandate is the Mohali Exhibition & Convention Centre, an Exhicon–India Exposition Mart Ltd (IEML) joint venture. He will take Phase 1 from infrastructure completion to full operational readiness, commercial launch and revenue generation by 31 May 2027. After that, he will move to Exhicon’s wider national venue footprint.
Mr. Dubey brings 35 years of experience in the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat, including:
-Sardar Sarovar Narmada Dam Project: land acquisition, legal affairs and rehabilitation on one of India’s largest infrastructure undertakings.
-Statue of Unity as Assistant Commissioner – Tourism Operations & Infrastructure Development, he oversaw operations, facilities management, CAPEX, vendor governance, security and visitor experience.
-Gujarat Tourism: as Additional Collector – Tourism Operations, he led operations, HR and governance across 50+ destinations.
-District administration: he began as Deputy Collector, handling revenue, land records and public-service delivery.
His core strengths are government liaison, regulatory compliance, land and legal affairs, digital governance, stakeholder management and institutional partnerships.
Beyond completing the venue, Mr. Dubey will build Mohali’s commercial engine by:
– Developing relationships with exhibition and convention organisers, corporates, associations, institutions and government bodies
– Converting business pipelines into contracted and collected revenue
– Developing pricing and commercial models and improving venue yields and utilisation
– Building a pipeline of recurring exhibitions, conferences, trade fairs and business events
He will report directly to the Board of Directors, with ownership and commercial accountability within the Company’s approved governance framework.
