The India Convention Promotion Bureau (ICPB) has announced the results of its Governing Board elections for the 2026–2028 term, held during the Bureau’s 39th Annual General Meeting in New Delhi. The elections brought together representatives from across India’s MICE ecosystem to shape the Bureau’s leadership and strategic direction for the next two years.
Election Results
Honorary Secretary
For the post of Honorary Secretary, Sudeep Samarendra Sarcar of IEML secured 61 votes, defeating Neeraj Dhawan of Falcon Exhibitions, who received 25 votes. A total of 86 votes were cast in this category.
Destination Management Company (DMC)
In the DMC category, five representatives were elected from a field of six candidates. Riyaz U.C. of Spiceland Holidays topped the polls with 20 votes, followed by Tushar Kesharwani of Vacation Experts with 19 votes and Dharmendra Kumar of Geanis Holidays with 17 votes. Omesh Raina of GIG Hospitality received 16 votes, while Ajay Vinayak of Palomino Hospitality secured 6 votes. A total of 78 votes were polled.
Allied Category
In the Allied category, Deepika Chowdhry of Candid India emerged as the leading candidate with 21 votes, followed closely by Raghav Khosla of Exhibition Showcase with 19 votes. Rajesh Charanda of The Platinum Organisers received 3 votes. A total of 43 votes were cast.
