Intersec Saudi Arabia, a leading exhibition for security, safety and fire protection, has been postponed until October 2027 following a review of recent developments in the Kingdom. Organiser Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia said the decision was taken in coordination with the venue, government partners and other stakeholders, prioritising the safety and security of exhibitors, visitors, partners and staff.
The exhibition, which was scheduled to take place in the coming weeks, will now return to Riyadh in October 2027. The organiser said it had been closely monitoring the situation before deciding to reschedule the event.
The postponement is intended to safeguard participants while preserving the exhibition’s international reach, commercial value and role in connecting industry stakeholders.
Intersec Saudi Arabia to Return to Riyadh in October 2027
Since its launch in 2019, Intersec Saudi Arabia has served as a key platform connecting international suppliers, public and private sector organisations, service providers and buyers across the security, safety and fire protection industries. The exhibition provides opportunities for business networking, product showcases and industry collaboration in the Saudi market.
Nathan Waugh, Portfolio Director for Security, Technology and Production at Messe Frankfurt Middle East (MFME), reaffirmed the organiser’s commitment to its partners and the event’s international community.
“While continuing to support our people, customers, and partners in Saudi Arabia, we remain equally committed to the international community that has supported the show over the years. Our focus is now on returning with an impactful event in 2027, reflecting the ambition of the Saudi market and the strength of the global Intersec brand,” Waugh said.
Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia stated that it would continue investing in the exhibition’s long-term development and supporting the Kingdom’s security, safety and fire protection sectors in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
