TFT: What are the key highlights and new additions to this edition of TTF Kolkata?

SA: With a new government in the state bringing renewed energy and optimism, the significance of TTF Kolkata, has reached a new high, offering tourism boards and travel brands a powerful platform to connect with the region’s vibrant travel trade. Deliberately held ahead of the Durga Puja and Winter Travel booking season, TTF Kolkata 2026 allows destinations and travel brands to connect with Eastern And Northeastern India’s thriving market. This exhibition will support networking, destination promotion, and business development.

 

TFT: How has TTF Kolkata evolved over the years to meet the changing needs of the travel and tourism industry?

SA: TTF Kolkata has evolved from a primarily consumer facing travel fair into a hybrid B2B and B2C powerhouse. Over the years, TTF has played a significant role in driving collaboration, networking, and business development across India’s key travel markets. Kolkata, which is one of the country’s major hubs for both outbound and domestic travel, continues to serve as an important gateway for destinations and tourism business seeking to strengthen their presence in Eastern India.

 

TFT: Kolkata has always been an important gateway to Eastern and Northeast India. How does TTF leverage this strategic advantage?

SA: TTF leverages Kolkata’s geographic edge as the gateway to Eastern and Northeast India by acting as a premier B2B and B2C networking platforms right before the peak of Durga Puja travel season.TTF Kolkata 2026 features 500+ exhibitors from 21 Indian States and 6 countries including Thailand, Nepal, Bhutan, the USA and Vietnam. The first two days will be dedicated to B2B networking, while the final day will be open to all, including B2C visitors.

 

TFT: What initiatives have been introduced to facilitate meaningful B2B networking and business generation during the event?

SA: At the event, TTF Kolkata, 2026, organizers structured the event with dedicated B2B days, digital ecosystem integration, and targeted networking clinics. For over three decades, TTF has served as one of India’s most established travel trade show networks, connecting exhibitors with the country’s leading source markets.TTF continues to facilitate business growth, destinations promotion, and meaningful partnerships across the travel industry.

 

TFT: How are state tourism boards and international destinations utilizing TTF as a platform to attract travellers and trade partners?

SA: State Tourism boards and international destinations use the Travel and Tourism fair to directly tap into India’s booming travel mart. In addition to the TTF series, Fairfest media also organises OTM – Asia’s leading Travel Show and BLTM.

 

TTF: What are your future plans for expanding the TTF platform and supporting the growth of India’s travel and tourism ecosystem?

SA: TTF is expanding its ecosystem by scaling it’s B2B trade show network across cities like Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Bengaluru and driving digital transformation.
