Messe Berlin Asia Pacific, in collaboration with Singapore’s National Environment Agency (NEA), has announced the launch of CMS Asia, a new trade exhibition dedicated to cleaning, facility management, and environmental services. The inaugural edition will be held from 8–10 June 2027 in Singapore alongside CleanEnviro Summit Singapore (CESG), marking the beginning of a landmark 12-year partnership between NEA and Messe Berlin Asia Pacific that will span six biennial editions from 2027 to 2039.

As urbanisation accelerates across the Asia-Pacific region, cities are increasingly seeking smarter, more sustainable, and efficient solutions for public hygiene, urban cleaning, facility management, waste management, and environmental resilience. CMS Asia and CESG will together create an integrated platform that fosters business collaboration, innovation, knowledge exchange, and policy dialogue among industry stakeholders, technology providers, service operators, policymakers, and major buyers from across the environmental services ecosystem.

“Asia Pacific is one of the world’s most dynamic regions for urban development, infrastructure growth and sustainability transformation. With CMS Asia, we are creating a dedicated business platform for the industries that support cleaner, healthier and more resilient cities – from cleaning and facility management to environmental services and sustainability solutions,” said Katrina Leung, Managing Director & Vice President Asia Pacific at Messe Berlin. “Together with CleanEnviro Summit Singapore, CMS Asia will connect policy dialogue, innovation, business exchange and technology sourcing in one place.”

“As the world faces increasingly complex environmental challenges, including climate change, Singapore remains committed to driving global collaboration and advancing capabilities in environmental management,” said Mr Alexander Lim, Managing Director of CleanEnviro Summit Singapore. “This partnership with Messe Berlin Asia Pacific reinforces that commitment and strengthens CleanEnviro Summit Singapore’s role as a leading regional platform for policy dialogue, industry engagement, and innovation.”

A Dedicated Platform for Sustainable Urban Solutions

Inspired by the internationally recognised CMS Berlin brand, CMS Asia is being developed to serve as a premier business platform for the cleaning, facility management, and environmental services sectors in Asia-Pacific. As part of the integrated event format, the exhibition component of CESG will be rebranded as CMS Asia and managed by Messe Berlin Asia Pacific, leveraging its global exhibition expertise and extensive industry network.

The exhibition will feature solutions across a wide range of sectors, including cleaning and hygiene, smart facility management, waste and resource recovery, pest management, environmental monitoring, sustainability technologies, and public health solutions. Designed with the unique needs of Asia-Pacific’s urban environments in mind, the event will focus on practical and scalable technologies for cities, healthcare facilities, transportation networks, public buildings, and commercial infrastructure.

Attendees can expect country and city pavilions, themed showcase zones, and live demonstrations featuring innovations such as robotic cleaning systems, autonomous technologies, and smart solutions for public infrastructure and healthcare environments.

CESG to Continue Driving Policy Leadership

While CMS Asia will focus on business and technology exchange, CESG will continue to serve as the policy and thought-leadership pillar of the integrated platform. The summit brings together policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, innovators, and academics from around the world to discuss environmental governance, sustainability strategies, regulatory developments, and climate-resilient urban management.

Through conferences, business matching sessions, live demonstrations, sustainability forums, and technical visits, the combined CMS Asia and CESG platform aims to promote higher standards of environmental hygiene, operational efficiency, and sustainable urban development across the Asia-Pacific region.

The partnership represents a significant step toward creating a comprehensive regional platform that connects policy, innovation, technology, and business opportunities while supporting the future of sustainable and resilient cities.
