The Indian Exhibitions, Conferences & Events Services Association (IESA) held its 12th Annual Session and Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Surat Garden, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, bringing together its annual association proceedings with discussions on the evolving priorities of India’s exhibition and events services industry.
The gathering focused on key industry requirements, including technology adoption, operational efficiency, quality standards, safety and security, and workforce development. Members also had an opportunity to discuss how service providers could adapt to changing client expectations and the growing demands of the exhibition and events sector.
Technology and Skill Development in Focus
With the industry increasingly emphasising efficient execution and improved service delivery, the discussions highlighted the potential of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies to optimise costs, reduce project timelines, strengthen quality and improve safety standards.
Skilling and professional training were also identified as important areas for developing industry capabilities. Greater collaboration among service providers, technology companies and other stakeholders can help address emerging challenges and improve the delivery of exhibition and event services.
EventFull Bharat Marketplace Facilitates Industry Engagement
The second edition of EventFull Bharat Marketplace was held alongside the AGM, providing a platform to showcase products, services and innovations from across the events industry.
The initiative was designed to feature a mini exhibition, expert panel discussions and business-to-business meetings, encouraging industry stakeholders to explore solutions, exchange knowledge and identify potential collaborations. The marketplace followed its inaugural edition, which was held alongside IESA’s India Expo Shop 2025 at Yashobhoomi Convention and Exhibition Centre, New Delhi.
