Informa Markets has announced the launch of WHX Jakarta 2027, a new healthcare exhibition designed to connect stakeholders across Indonesia’s healthcare ecosystem. The inaugural edition will take place from March 31 to April 2, 2027, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, Jakarta.

Operating through PT Pamerindo Indonesia, Informa Markets aims to bring together professionals and businesses from the medical technology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, diagnostics and wellness sectors. The launch expands the World Health Expo (WHX) portfolio in Southeast Asia, building on the organiser’s existing healthcare events in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.

Held under the theme “Connecting Healthcare, Advancing Indonesia,” the exhibition is expected to attract more than 8,000 attendees from 20 countries and feature over 250 exhibitors. International pavilions and a hosted buyer programme are also planned to facilitate business connections between regional buyers, manufacturers and global suppliers.

“We are thrilled to bring WHX to Jakarta at such a transformative time for Indonesia’s healthcare sector. With a population of over 280 million people and a rapidly modernising healthcare infrastructure, Indonesia represents one of the most dynamic healthcare markets in Southeast Asia. WHX Jakarta 2027 will serve as the catalyst for collaboration, innovation, and growth, connecting local and international stakeholders who are committed to advancing healthcare access and quality across the archipelago. This launch edition builds on our proven success in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, and we’re confident that Jakarta will become a cornerstone event for the Indonesia’s healthcare community,” added Rose Chitanuwat, Regional Portfolio Director – ASEAN, Informa Markets

The event will include a conference programme covering hospital leadership, smart healthcare operations, pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical technology, local manufacturing, diagnostics, laboratory innovation and nutraceutical development. Training sessions and practical workshops will complement the exhibition.

The launch comes as Indonesia continues to develop its healthcare infrastructure and strengthen domestic capabilities in medical technology and pharmaceutical production. WHX Jakarta is intended to provide a platform for international companies and local stakeholders to explore partnerships, exchange expertise and identify emerging business opportunities in the Indonesian market.
