Poultry India Expo 2025 Reinforces Its Position as a Global Platform for Poultry Excellence

The Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (IPEMA) successfully organised the 17th edition of Poultry India Expo 2025 from 25 to 28 November at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad. The event once again underscored its stature as a premier international platform for poultry innovation, technology exchange and business collaboration.

Concluding on a strong note, the expo witnessed robust participation from domestic and international stakeholders and facilitated meaningful industry partnerships, reaffirming its growing influence within the global poultry ecosystem.

India’s Expanding Global Footprint in Poultry:
India continued to strengthen its position as a global poultry powerhouse, ranking second in egg production with 142.77 billion eggs in 2023–24 and remaining among the world’s top four broiler-producing nations. The sector played a vital role in enhancing nutrition security, generating rural employment and contributing to economic growth, while maintaining annual growth rates of 8–10 percent in chicken meat and 6–8 percent in egg production.

Anchored around the theme “One Nation, One Expo,” Poultry India Expo 2025 accelerated innovation, collaboration and knowledge sharing across the entire poultry value chain.

Building Strong Global and National Partnerships
The 17th edition marked an unprecedented level of collaboration, partnering with:
• 16 international poultry associations
• More than 40 national-level poultry organisations
• 18 national poultry media platforms
• 15 global media organisations
• Over 100 mainstream and digital influencers

These alliances significantly enhanced technological outreach, farmer engagement and international visibility, making this edition one of the most connected and impactful in the event’s history.

Government Leadership Strengthens Industry Engagement
The expo was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Vakiti Srihari, Hon’ble Minister for Animal Husbandry, Telangana, who also participated in the Poultry Knowledge Day sessions held on 25 November.

From 26 to 28 November, the event was further honoured by the presence of senior leaders from the Government of Telangana, reinforcing the importance of close industry–government collaboration for sectoral growth.
• Shri Ponnam Prabhakar Goud, Hon’ble Minister for Transport and BC Welfare, Telangana, reiterated the government’s commitment to sustainability and long-term sectoral development.
• Shri Tummala Nageswara Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture, Telangana, emphasised support for rural market empowerment and future-oriented transformation.
• Shri Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Hon’ble Former Minister, visited the exhibition halls and encouraged industry stakeholders through his interaction.
• Shri Gaddam Ranjith Reddy, Hon’ble Former Minister, attended the expo, expressing strong support for South Asia’s largest poultry platform.
• Dr K. Lakshman, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, also visited the expo, acknowledging its role in driving innovation and growth within the sector.

IPEMA Leadership Highlights Industry Momentum
Commenting on the success of the event, Shri Uday Singh Bayas, President, IPEMA and Poultry India, stated that the growing global and national engagement at the expo reflects the industry’s readiness for the future and the strong momentum of India’s poultry sector.

A Landmark 17th Edition
Poultry India Expo 2025 achieved several significant milestones:
• Participation from over 550 exhibitors representing more than 50 countries
• Attendance of 51,251 industry visitors
• 35,000 square metres of exhibition space spread across seven fully air-conditioned, global-standard halls

Live demonstrations and innovations covered key areas including breeding and genetics, hatchery and farm automation, feed milling and advanced nutrition, environmentally controlled housing and ventilation, veterinary diagnostics and biosecurity, sustainable egg processing, and green poultry and manure management solutions. The expo also addressed emerging challenges related to poultry health, sustainability, raw material volatility and smart technology adoption.

Knowledge Exchange Through Poultry Knowledge Day 2025
The flagship Poultry Knowledge Day focused on critical themes such as emerging diseases and preventive strategies, future-ready feed planning, sustainability and manure management, rural market opportunities, and evolving career pathways for the next generation of poultry professionals.

In line with the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, Poultry India Expo 2025 served as a catalyst for empowering farmers, entrepreneurs, veterinarians, researchers, students and global industry leaders, paving the way for the next phase of transformation in India’s poultry sector.
