Easyfairs Nordic has announced the acquisition of full ownership of Nordic Live Expo, reinforcing its long-term commitment to expanding its presence across the Nordic region and strengthening its portfolio of business-to-business exhibitions. The announcement was made on 29 June.
Having already been a shareholder and strategic partner in Nordic Live Expo, Easyfairs has now taken complete ownership of the company, marking a significant step in its regional growth strategy. The move reflects Easyfairs’ ambition to further develop its footprint across Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark by investing in high-quality event brands and professional communities.
Nordic Live Expo has built a strong reputation for organizing specialist exhibitions that bring together industry professionals through focused content, networking opportunities, and business engagement. The company has also earned recognition for successfully launching new event brands, making it a strategic fit within Easyfairs’ long-term vision. Going forward, Easyfairs will continue supporting Nordic Live Expo’s drive to introduce new exhibitions across the Nordic market.
The acquisition further strengthens Easyfairs’ presence in several fast-growing sectors through nationally recognised events such as Stockholm Tech Show, Oslo Tech Show, Energimässan, and Lösningar för Offentlig Sektor, among others.
With full ownership, Easyfairs plans to support Nordic Live Expo’s next phase of growth by leveraging its international network, digital technology platforms, operational expertise, and experience in building leading exhibition brands. The company’s in-house stand construction capabilities are also expected to enhance the overall exhibition experience while creating greater value for exhibitors, visitors, and partners. At the same time, Nordic Live Expo will continue to contribute its strong local market expertise, entrepreneurial approach, and close industry relationships.
The acquisition aligns with Easyfairs’ broader strategy of investing in established event businesses with strong market potential while reaffirming its confidence in the Nordic exhibition market.
Henrik Johansson, CEO of Easyfairs Nordic, commented:
“Taking full ownership of Nordic Live Expo is a natural and very positive next step for us. As an existing shareholder, we have already had the opportunity to see the strength of the business, the quality of the team and the value the events create for their communities. We also greatly admire what Nordic Live Expo has achieved since its inception, especially its strong ability to successfully launch new events. This acquisition strengthens our position in the Nordics and gives us an even stronger platform for future growth. We look forward to continuing to support the team’s entrepreneurial ambition to launch events across the Nordic region.”
Susanne Hallencreutz, CEO of Nordic Live Expo, commented:
“Easyfairs has already been an important part of our journey, so this feels both natural and exciting. We share the same belief in building strong niche B2B events that really serve their communities and continue to develop with the market. Having Easyfairs as full owner gives us even better opportunities to grow the business and build on what we have created so far.”
