Anil Gupta Takes Over as PHDCCI President for 2026–27
KEI Industries CMD to lead the chamber’s industry engagement and growth agenda
The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) has announced the appointment of Anil Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of KEI Industries Limited, as its President for 2026–27.
The appointment marks a new chapter in the chamber’s leadership, with expectations of stronger industry collaboration, innovation and business engagement as India advances towards its Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
Gupta brings experience from the electrical wires and cables industry, a sector closely linked to India’s infrastructure development, industrial expansion, electrification and manufacturing ambitions.
Under his leadership, PHDCCI is expected to continue strengthening engagement between industry stakeholders and policymakers, while promoting initiatives that support economic growth and competitiveness.
For India’s exhibition, events and MICE industry, the chamber’s leadership transition also presents an opportunity to deepen dialogue on exhibition infrastructure, industry development and the role of trade fairs in facilitating business-to-business connections, investment and international trade.
