Business France India Concludes Successful French Tech Days 2024 in Bengaluru, Strengthening India-France Innovation Ties

The French Tech Days India 2024, organized by Business France in collaboration with the Paris Region, concluded successfully on November 21, marking a significant milestone in fostering stronger India-France ties in the tech sector. The event, held from November 17 to 21, provided a key platform for French tech companies to expand their presence in India, one of the world’s largest and most dynamic technology ecosystems.

Held alongside the prestigious Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS), French Tech Days 2024 brought together top French tech companies and Indian industry leaders, investors, and partners. The event featured a comprehensive program with B2B meetings, technical visits, and opportunities for innovation exchange, enabling French companies to forge valuable partnerships and explore new avenues within India’s growing tech sector.

Highlights of the Visit :

• Schneider Electric’s Smart Factory : The delegation visited Schneider Electric’s Smart Factory, where they witnessed cutting-edge advancements in automation, digital transformation, and industrial IoT. This technical visit offered an in-depth look at Schneider’s innovative solutions driving the future of manufacturing.
• Infosys Innovation Network : Another key engagement took place at Infosys, one of India’s leading IT services companies, where the delegation explored potential collaborations in emerging technologies such as I, cybersecurity, quantum computing, and autonomous machines.
• Tailored B2B Meetings : French companies participated in personalized business meetings with Indian counterparts, exploring partnerships in sectors such as AgriTech, MedTech, EdTech, CleanTech, I, and IoT. These interactions paved the way for future collaborations, with many companies already in discussions for joint ventures, investment opportunities, and technology exchanges.
• Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) : s the centrepiece of the event, the delegation attended BTS, engaging in B2B meetings and an exhibition tour. The ‘Vive la Tech: French Ideas, Global Impact!’ session highlighted the global impact of French innovation, allowing companies to pitch their solutions to Indian partners and investors, fostering further collaboration.
• French Tech Night : Held at the French Consulate in Bengaluru, the French Tech night served as a major networking event. French and Indian tech leaders gathered to discuss new opportunities, innovations, and potential collaborations, followed by a cocktail reception and pitches from the French delegation companies.

Delegation from France : The distinguished delegation was led by Alexandra Dublanche, Vice-President of the Paris Region and President of Choose Paris Region. It included seven innovative companies like ELDIM, BRAD and Dolk, all exemplifying the region’s excellence in tech innovation. These companies are now poised to expand their presence in India, strengthening the relationship between the Paris region and Karnataka’s tech ecosystem.
