Developed India-Developed Uttarakhand Mega Exhibition in Roorkee

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the ‘Developed India-Developed Uttarakhand’ Mega Exhibition at Nehru Stadium, Roorkee, on March 4, 2025. The exhibition showcased India’s rapid development and Uttarakhand’s progress, offering a glimpse into the country’s transformation.

Addressing the gathering, CM Dhami described the exhibition as a dynamic representation of India’s growth, highlighting the vision of a self-reliant and developed nation. He commended the efforts of Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal in organizing the event and underscored its role in celebrating India’s achievements across various sectors.

Showcasing India’s Advancements:

The exhibition featured stalls from several leading organizations, including:

  • Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)
  • Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)
  • Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Limited (THDC)
  • Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS)
  • Various central agencies and state government departments

These stalls highlighted public welfare initiatives, technological advancements, and key innovations, reflecting the nation’s commitment to progress.

Vision for a Developed India:

CM Dhami reiterated that India’s transformation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership is steering the nation toward becoming a developed country by 2047. He emphasized that such initiatives reinforce the country’s ambition to lead in sectors such as technology, infrastructure, and self-reliance, marking a significant step toward nation-building.
