EEMA Appoints Deepak Choudhary as President; Announces New Governing Body

The Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA), India’s apex industry body representing the events and experiential ecosystem, has announced its new Governing Body for the upcoming term, appointing Deepak Choudhary as its President.

The newly elected leadership team brings together experienced professionals from across the country’s events, entertainment, MICE, live experiences and experiential marketing sectors. The Governing Body is expected to further strengthen EEMA’s role in driving industry growth, fostering collaboration and representing the interests of the event fraternity at both national and international levels.

Alongside President Deepak Choudhary, the new office bearers include Mahavir Sharma as Executive Vice President, Vinod Janardhan as General Secretary, Hareesh Babu as Secretary and Vipul Agarwal as Treasurer.

The regional Vice Presidents appointed for the new term are Vipul Pandhi (North), R. Ramkumar (South), Harshal Kothari (West) and Saroj Mallia (East), ensuring strong representation across the country.

The association has also appointed Naveen Gupta (North), Nehal Shah (West) and Vishnu Muchhal (East) as Joint Secretaries, while Anup Joy (South), Pankaj Bansal (East) and Manaswini Saraswati (East) have been inducted as Committee Members.

The announcement reflects EEMA’s continued commitment to strengthening leadership within the industry and creating a unified platform to address emerging opportunities and challenges. With India’s events and experiential sector witnessing rapid expansion, the new Governing Body is expected to focus on industry advocacy, skill development, innovation, sustainability and strengthening collaboration among stakeholders.

EEMA has played a pivotal role in representing the interests of the event and entertainment industry, bringing together event management companies, experiential agencies, production houses, destination specialists and allied service providers under one umbrella. Through policy advocacy, knowledge-sharing initiatives and industry engagement, the association continues to contribute to the professional growth and global positioning of India’s events ecosystem.

The newly constituted Governing Body will lead EEMA’s vision under the association’s guiding philosophy of “One Industry. One Voice. Limitless Impact,” working towards creating greater opportunities, stronger industry partnerships and a more resilient future for the Indian events and entertainment sector.
