GLOBAL PATIDAR BUSINESS SUMMIT AND EXPO INAUGURATED BY CM BHUPENDRA PATEL

The Global Patidar business Summit (GPBS) and exhibition, organized by Sardar Dham, commenced in Gandhinagar with an inaugural address by Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel. The CM lauded the Patidar community for their visionary approach, emphasizing their remarkable contributions to development and innovation. Highlighting Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, he described the PM as a forward thinking leader who has elevated India’s global stature with initiatives epitomized by the phrase “Yahi Samay Hai, Sahi Samay Hai.”

The summit, held from January 9 to 12, 2025, included a sprawling exhibition covering 1 lakh square meters, attracting attendees from across India and beyond. Union Minister of youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & employment Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, IFFCO Chairman Shri Dileep Sanghani, and prominent Patidar leaders were among the distinguished guests.

The nation is poised to reach a seven trillion dollar economy by 2026, and the Prime Minister is resolute in his mission to elevate India to a $30 trillion economy by 2047, in time for the centenary of independence. The Government of India, in partnership with state governments, is actively planning for this transformation. With the middle and upper middle classes expanding, the country’s purchasing power is on the rise, unlocking tremendous opportunities for industries.

In his address, the Chief Minister underscored the significant role of the Patidar community in industrial and social progress, comparing the summit to a ‘Mahakumbh of industry and trade’. He acknowledged the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, launched by Prime Minister Modi in 2003, as a benchmark event that inspired initiatives like the GPBS. The CM emphasized the government’s commitment to providing resources such as reliable electricity, water, and green energy solutions to support industrial growth. The event also saw the release of the Sardar Patel International business Organization (SPIBO) website, a pre-launch presentation for GPbS-2026 USA, and the recognition of donors who contributed significantly to the community

Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya’s Address

Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya praised the Patidar community as resilient, hardworking, and deeply rooted in their respect for nature. He highlighted their journey from farming communities to global business leaders, attributing their success to qualities like bravery, intelligence, and a philanthropic lifestyle.

Dr. Mandaviya outlined India’s economic growth trajectory under Prime Minister Modi’s vision of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.” He noted that despite global economic slowdowns, India is on track to achieve a $7 trillion economy by 2026 and aims for a $30 trillion economy by 2047, aligning with the centenary of independence. He urged the youth of the Patidar community to seize emerging opportunities and contribute to the nation’s transformative journey.

Remarks by Other Dignitaries

IFFCO Chairman Shri Dileep Sanghani congratulated Sardar Dham trustees for uniting Patidars worldwide and fostering national unity. Shri Gajibhai Sutaria, the driving force behind Sardar Dham, highlighted the organization’s achievements, including preparing over 4,100 youth for UPSC and GPSC exams, catalyzing a social revolution within the community. The event was graced by leaders from various communities, trustees, donors, and students, reflecting the collective strength and unity of the Patidar community.
