Global events organiser Hyve has announced the acquisition of LegalTechTalk, one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to legal technology and digital transformation, marking its entry into the legal industry event sector. The acquisition also supports LegalTechTalk’s planned expansion into the United States. As artificial intelligence and emerging technologies continue to reshape the legal profession, LegalTechTalk has established itself as a premier platform connecting legal leaders, technology providers and innovators driving transformation across the industry.
Founded in 2024 by entrepreneurs Bradley Collins and Mikkel Jensen, LegalTechTalk has witnessed rapid growth. Its 2026 edition, held in June, attracted more than 5,500 attendees from over 70 countries, with 62% comprising C-suite executives and senior decision-makers. The event also featured over 450 speakers representing leading organisations including Google, Airbnb, Revolut, Adidas, DLA Piper and Freshfields.
Commenting on the acquisition, Mark Shashoua, CEO of Hyve, said the company was excited to enter a new industry vertical through the acquisition of a market-leading event. He noted that LegalTechTalk had quickly established itself as a trusted platform by maintaining a strong focus on customer value and community building.
The founders, Bradley Collins and Mikkel Jensen, will continue to lead the business while working closely with Hyve’s acquisitions and best practice team, led by Lisa Milburn, President of the division.
The acquisition also reinforces LegalTechTalk’s international growth strategy. Following the announcement of its expansion into the United States, Hyve’s Global Ventures team will support the launch of the inaugural LegalTechTalk USA, scheduled to take place in Miami Beach in December 2027.
Bradley Collins, Co-Founder and CEO of LegalTechTalk, said the company had always envisioned expanding beyond Europe and that Hyve’s experience in successfully scaling premium event brands internationally made it the ideal partner to accelerate the platform’s global growth.
Hyve plans to invest further in LegalTechTalk by introducing new initiatives, including a large-scale hosted meetings programme and innovative networking formats such as TableTalks, aimed at enhancing customer engagement and business opportunities.
Mikkel Jensen, Co-Founder and COO of LegalTechTalk, said the partnership would provide access to Hyve’s expertise in event operations and customer experience, enabling the company to strengthen its offerings while continuing to deliver greater value to the legal community.
With the acquisition, Hyve further expands its global portfolio of specialised B2B events while positioning LegalTechTalk for accelerated international growth and reinforcing its ambition to become a leading global platform for legal technology and innovation.
