The International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE) has unveiled the outcomes of its 2025 Board of Directors elections. Each year, the official voting member of every IAEE member organization participates in selecting the board members. Officers serve a term of one year, while the secretary/treasurer role may extend up to two years. Directors are appointed for staggered three-year terms, ensuring smooth governance transitions within the association. Chuck Grouzard, the Executive Vice President of Business Development, Creative, and Design at GES, has been appointed as the 2025 IAEE Chairperson of the Board. Bringing 36 years of expertise in the exhibitions sector, Grouzard leads the company’s business development efforts, focusing on strategic sales initiatives that drive growth, expand market presence, and cultivate valuable partnerships with existing and prospective clients. His core strengths include strategic and consultative sales, crafting proposals and presentations, and conducting training, all underpinned by his skill in analysing industry trends to guide decision-making.
Recognized as a visionary leader, Grouzard excels in managing organizational change and fostering innovation. Beyond his contributions to GES, his leadership credentials include serving as Chairperson of the Centre for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR and as President of both the Exhibition Services & Contractors Association (ESCA) and the IAEE Midwester Chapter. In 2023, Grouzard received the prestigious “15 Over 50” award from Connect Corporate, celebrating his outstanding influence on the meetings and events industry.
