Dinesh Babu : FoodBiz India 2015 is an National Conference and Exposition on Food Processing with the theme Sustainable Technologies, Opportunities and Entrepreneurship development for Food and Allied Industries. It is a platform that brings together all the stakeholders such as industry, academia, policy agencies etc. to a common platform.

M. Dinesh Babu : The number of visitors expected are around 1000+.
TFT : What was the volume of business generated by the FoodBiz Expo held in the year 2014 ?
M. Dinesh Babu : The volume of the business generated during the last year expo is around 1 Cr.
TFT : Are there other countries participating at FoodBiz 2015 apart from India and if so can you please name them?
M. Dinesh Babu : We are expecting participation from The Netherlands.
TFT : Is this an annual event or a biannual event; please explain about the frequency and the cities?
M. Dinesh Babu : It’s an annual event conducted in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati of Andhra Pradesh and In Hyderabad of Telangana.
TFT : Is this exhibition targeted only for International market?
M. Dinesh Babu : We target International Market with a focus linkages to regional and National level markets.

M. Dinesh Babu : India is very diverse and food processing industry traditionally is localized and un-organized. The lack of training on processing training, lower productivity etc. leads to higher costs and also limited market reach. There is an urgent need to bring the stakeholders of industry on common platform to share the latest in food processing and how it will help to grow the business.
Andhra Pradesh Technology Development & Promotion Centre and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) work to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth of industry in India, partnering industry and government alike through advisory and consultative process. CII also takes initiatives to bring the various stake holders of specific industry on common platform by organizing Conference & Exhibitions.
