The pavilion was inaugurated by Dr. K. Srikar Reddy, Consul General of India, San Francisco, in the presence of Shri Rakesh Adlakha, Deputy Consul General, and Shri Tanmay Shankar, Head of Digital Growth, NFDC, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.

A key highlight of the India Pavilion is the promotion of World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES), scheduled to take place in Mumbai from May 1 to 4, 2025. Organized by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) and led by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), WAVES aims to position India as the Content Hub of the World. The summit will foster trade, innovation, and cross-border collaborations, bringing global focus to India’s Media & Entertainment (M&E) industry.
