Sustainability is a cornerstone of the Centre’s operations, with initiatives aligned with the united Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In 2024, the venue achieved an impressive 100% food waste diversion using enhanced composting methods. Additionally, its subscription to the Green Energy Tariff (GET) program has accelerated its transition to renewable energy, surpassing its original 2050 target.

The Centre has continuously evolved to meet industry demands, introducing state of-the-art upgrades such as advanced LED displays, cutting edge audio-visual systems, and smart controls in meeting rooms. Over its 20-year journey, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre has hosted more than 21,800 events, welcomed nearly 30 million delegates, and generated an economic impact of RM12.3 billion. This remarkable track record cements the Centre’s position as a cornerstone of Malaysia’s business events industry. As the Centre celebrates its milestone anniversary, its achievements highlight its role as a trailblazer in the business events sector, setting new standards for excellence and sustainability.
