  • 8th Catalyst Conference: The event started on December 19 with the 8th Catalyst Conference, focusing on the sustainability of the electric vehicle industry. Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, inaugurated the conference, which addressed key policy issues, industry updates, and the latest advancements in technology and products in the EV market.

EV Expo is more than an exhibition; it’s a platform for innovation, collaboration, and creating a sustainable future through eco-friendly transportation solutions. With alarming levels of pollution across our cities, there is an urgent need to adopt electric vehicles. With exciting new launches and cutting-edge technologies, this event offers unparalleled opportunities for stakeholders in the EV sector.

  • Expo Inauguration by Harsh Malhotra: The official expo started on December 20, 2024, with Harsh Malhotra, Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways and Corporate Affairs, presiding over the inauguration ceremony. The event saw the presence of Ajay Tamta, MoS in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, and Daya Shankar Singh, MoS (Independent Charge) for Transport, Uttar Pradesh, among other dignitaries.
  • A Decade of Innovation and Collaboration: Celebrating 10 years of excellence, the 21st EV Expo was an immersive showcase of cutting-edge innovations, emerging technologies, and impactful industry collaborations. With around 200 exhibitors from both India and abroad, attendees had the opportunity to explore a wide array of products and solutions that are transforming the future of mobility.
  • Opportunities for Investors and Startups: The expo also provided valuable networking opportunities for entrepreneurs, startups, industry leaders, and investors. Anuj Sharma, President of the Electric Vehicle Federation and former Chairman of the E-Rickshaw Committee, Government of India, stated “We are expecting a strong presence of venture capitalists and investors at the Expo, and we are actively working on matchmaking opportunities to connect the EV business with funding sources. This will open up new avenues for growth and innovation in the sector.
