NTPC Ltd. participated as a Platinum Partner at the Oil, Gas & Power World Expo 2025, organized by CHEMTECH from March 5 to 7, 2025, at Mumbai. The three-day event served as a prominent platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and investors to engage in discussions and explore the latest advancements in power generation, clean energy, and sustainability.
Showcasing Innovation in Energy Transition:
NTPC’s pavilion at the expo was inaugurated by Shri Kamlesh Soni, Regional Executive Director (West-I), NTPC, and Shri Prasenjit Pal, Project Director of Mahi Banswara Rajasthan Atomic Power Project and Executive Director (Nuclear), NTPC.
The pavilion featured three key working models demonstrating NTPC’s leadership in decarbonization and sustainable energy practices:
- A Waste-to-Energy Plant, showcasing the conversion of solid waste into electricity.
- A Carbon Dioxide to Methanol Plant, highlighting NTPC’s carbon capture and utilization (CCU) capabilities.
- Displays on Renewable Energy and Green Hydrogen Technologies, reinforcing NTPC’s advancements in solar, wind, and hydrogen-based power solutions.

During the inauguration, Shri Kamlesh Soni emphasized NTPC’s role in accelerating India’s energy transition, stating:
