The 8th edition of PLASTASIA 2025, organized in association with PMMAI (Plastics Machinery Manufacturers Association of India), concluded on a successful note at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). Held from May 9th to 12th, the event took place in Halls 4 and 5, serving as a dynamic platform for innovation, collaboration, and business growth in the plastics processing and manufacturing sector.
Comprehensive Display of Plastics Industry Excellence:
PLASTASIA 2025 brought together a comprehensive showcase of:
- Plastic processing machinery and accessories
- Raw materials, additives, and masterbatches
- Blends, alloys, and composites
- Foam machinery and welding machines
- Quality control and testing equipment
- IT applications and ancillary technologies
The event attracted both Indian and international exhibitors, offering live demonstrations and a chance to witness the latest advancements driving the plastics industry.
The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of eminent personalities from industry and government, including Shri M.V. Rajeev Gowda – Former Member of Parliament, National Spokesperson for the Indian National Congress, and Chairman of the Congress Research Department, Shri Tushar Parikh – Chairman, PMMAI & Director, Neoplast Engineering Pvt Ltd, Shri Bill Shukla – Director, PMMAI & CEO, Milacron India, Shri M. G. Rajagopal – President, KASSIA, Shri H V S Krishna – Chairman, IMS Foundation. Their presence underscored the event’s importance in driving industrial development and policy-level support for plastics and manufacturing sectors.
PLASTASIA 2025 witnessed international participation from countries including Canada, China, Germany, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam, with dedicated country pavilions for China and Korea.
The event also featured robust participation from India’s MSME sector, enabled by government subsidies and support schemes aimed at promoting small-scale industries in the plastics domain. This helped many smaller businesses exhibit their products, network with global peers, and explore new export and distribution opportunities.
