A.BR Singh: Sabri Helpage is a pioneering non-profit organization that was founded in 2013 with an unwavering dedication to uplifting and supporting communities in need. With a deep-rooted commitment to humanitarian service, we strive to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the underprivileged and marginalized sections of society.
Headquartered in the vibrant city of Kolkata, West Bengal, India, our organization operates with a clear and independent vision, free from any affiliations to business, religious, or political influences. This autonomy ensures that our initiatives remain unbiased, inclusive, and solely focused on social welfare.

TFT: What is the theme in this press conference?
A.BR Singh: The theme is about “Sociofare”2025. The “Sociofare” by Sabri Helpage, a Platform for honouring the unsung heroes who dedicate their lives to serving others and making the world a better place. In a world where awards and acknowledgements often celebrate power, wealth and fame. The “Sociofare” was born out of a simple yet profound realization of the true heroes of society are often who work quietly in the background, expecting nothing in return.
TFT: Tell something about yourself?
A.BR Singh: I am the founder of “Sabri Helpage”, a non-profit organization focused on providing support and care to the elderly, particularly in the Kolkata area. I am a Psychoanalyst, an entrepreneur who is rooted in values and hard work with commitment and persistence. Critical thinking is one of my better traits, making me a fantastic person in problem-solving. I believe in conducting charity out of a sense of responsibility, should be the first condition of the human being. It should come naturally to us and never be treated as a duty.
TFT: What was the journey of the “SocioFare” Awards?
A.BR Singh: The journey of ‘SocioFare’ continues to evolve, growing stronger and more meaningful with each passing year. It is not just about trophies, accolades, or grand ceremonies, it is about reshaping the very essence of success. Beyond recognition, “SocioFare” stands as a powerful testament to the idea that true greatness is measured not by personal achievements alone, but by the positive impact one creates in the lives of others.

A.BR Singh: Yes, Sabri Helpage is a dedicated non-profit organization that actively works to promote women’s health and hygiene by distributing sanitary napkins to women and girls in need. Understanding the critical importance of menstrual health, we strive to ensure that every woman and girl has access to safe, hygienic, and affordable menstrual care—a basic necessity that is often overlooked due to financial constraints, social stigma, and lack of awareness.
Our initiative goes beyond just distribution; we aim to educate and empower communities by conducting awareness campaigns, workshops, and counselling sessions on menstrual hygiene management, reproductive health, and breaking taboos surrounding menstruation. By addressing misconceptions and cultural stigmas, we encourage open conversations that help young girls and women embrace their health with confidence and dignity.
