The Indian DJ expo is a very unique concept which was conceptualized by Mr. Manuel Dias, organizer of Indian DJ Expo. The Indian DJ Expo serves as the only major event for the Disc Jockey community to come together to connect, showcase their products and foster relations within the industry. In this interview Manuel Dias, Organizer of The Indian DJ Expo sheds light on the upcoming West edition which will be held at Messe Global Convention Centre, Pune!
TFT: As the name suggests Indian DJ Expo is a very unique and one of it’s kind in the industry. Please tell us about it!
Manuel Dias: INDIAN DJ EXPO was conceptualized and the ideation was built around keeping in mind the importance of a DJ (Disc Jockey) in any and every Event. Be it Social, Corporate and Government events.
Also if one wanted to invest into a loudspeaker system setup, they would refer it to as a DJ System.
Therefore we thought it apt to call the Expo INDIAN DJ EXPO.
TFT: Which are some of the leading companies participating in this edition?
Manuel Dias: INDIAN DJ EXPO in 2026 celebrated a decade of Dedication and Service to the Indian Events and Entertainment Industry.
Some of the leading brands that have supported the platform since inception are AHUJA, NX AUDIO, P AUDIO, AERONS, ATI PRO, AUDIOTONE, ZYPHER, A PLUS, BETA THREE, POPE PROFESSIONAL, JIA LIGHTING, STAN LIGHTING, BSM, FALCON CABLES, KRYSTALS CABLES and many more. In this edition we have most of the leading brands participating.
TFT: What are some of the cutting edge products that will be displayed?
Manuel Dias: Visitors will get to evaluate the latest offerings in Power Amps, Loudspeakers, Line Arrays (we have 12 systems on demo in the line array demo arena), Speaker Components, Cables, LED Lights, LED Screens, Musical Instruments, Truss, Special Effects Products and much more.
TFT: Indian DJ Expo plays a pivotal role in the DJ industry. What led you to conceptualize such event?
Manuel Dias: Right from the start we knew the platform had to be different. And with the DJ gaining importance in the Events and Entertainment Industry it was time to create a platform dedicated to the world of DJ which included DJ Gear, Pro Audio, Pro Light, Pro AV.
TFT: Are there any panel discussions or conference planned at the exhibition?
Manuel Dias: Since this is the first of the WEST EDITION, we will be planning a limited session of topics of which details will be available soon on the website indiandjexpo.in
TFT: Since it’s conceptualization, how the expo has evolved over the years?
Manuel Dias: The INDIAN DJ EXPO has had tremendous support from all major Pro Audio, Lighting and LED Screen brands since 2014. From a 5000 footfall in 2014 to a 45000 footfall in 2025 says it all.
The approx 1000 brands that participate with 200 Exhibiting Companies shows the commitment and support to growing platform.
TFT: Where do you see the expo in the coming years and what are some major developments that we can see in the coming years?
Manuel Dias: The INDIAN DJ EXPO is growing with its popularity in the events and entertainment industry and the fact that the platform is able to achieve the expectations of the Exhibitors in terms of their ROI is the USP of its growth trend.
Over the coming years the INDIAN DJ EXPO will stamp its importance as the most loved Expo in India in the Pro segment.
