The 25th edition of the India International Travel Mart (IITM), one of India’s leading travel and tourism exhibitions, kicked off at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Kadavanthra, Kochi. This highly anticipated event has gathered key stakeholders from the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors for a three-day extravaganza of networking, innovation, and collaboration. Participants from Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and more have showcased their tourism highlights at the event. International destinations like Turkey, Malaysia, Vietnam, Bali, Thailand, and Bhutan also added to the exhibition’s global appeal.

Sustainable Tourism Takes Centre Stage

Rohit Hangal said the event is a “gateway to shaping the future sustainable tourism, promoting eco-friendly practices, community based tourism projects, and wellness travel. With the theme of responsible travel, the exhibition aims to inspire industry stakeholders and travelers to adopt greener approaches to tourism.
