UFI Global Congress 2026 to Proceed as Scheduled in Bahrain Amid Regional Uncertainty

UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, has confirmed that the 93rd UFI Global Congress will take place as scheduled from 2–5 November 2026 in the Kingdom of Bahrain, despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainty in the wider Middle East.

The association stated that there were no plans to postpone or relocate the annual gathering. UFI is coordinating closely with its local hosts, Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) and the Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), to monitor regional developments and ensure appropriate arrangements for participating delegates.

The congress, themed “Stronger Connections, Smarter Futures”, will bring together exhibition industry leaders and professionals from across the world to discuss the sector’s evolving challenges and opportunities. The programme will address how businesses can navigate market volatility, unpredictable operating conditions and regional disruptions while identifying new avenues for growth and collaboration.

The event is scheduled to be held at Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir, a major venue for international exhibitions and business events. Registration remains open as preparations continue for the four-day congress.

The confirmation reflects UFI’s continued coordination with its local partners as the global exhibition community prepares to gather in Bahrain for its annual industry meeting.
