Lucknow Gears Up for ₹1100 Cr World-Class International Convention and Exhibition Centre

Lucknow is on the cusp of acquiring a state-of-the-art International Convention and Exhibition Centre, a significant infrastructure boost planned under the Avadh Vihar Yojana. This ambitious project, spanning a vast 1.32 lakh square meters, is designed to meet global standards and will have the capacity to accommodate up to 10,000 people. The centre will feature four expansive exhibition halls and a grand auditorium with a seating capacity of 2,500.

A Hi-Tech Convention Centre in 18 Months:

The state government has allocated a substantial budget of ₹1,058.22 crore (excluding Goods and Services Tax) for this landmark project and has set an ambitious target of completing its construction within just 18 months. The facility will be developed using an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model, ensuring efficient and timely execution. The centre will be equipped with a comprehensive range of modern amenities, including a cutting-edge hi-tech audio-visual system, a 300kW solar power station for sustainable energy, sophisticated digital public address systems, and extensive parking facilities designed to accommodate all types of vehicles.

• Four iconic 35-meter clock towers
• Lush landscaping and smart lighting
• Advanced security systems, including CCTV surveillance, fire-fighting units, and baggage scanners
• Wi-Fi connectivity, an integrated building management system, and customized artwork throughout the premises
