The inaugural edition of West India TRAVMART (WITM), held at the Hyatt Regency Pune on March 26–27, 2025, marked a significant milestone in TTJ TRAVMART’s mission to expand regional B2B travel networking across India. Bringing together 47 travel industry sellers and over 240 pre-registered buyers, the event facilitated more than 5,700 structured business meetings, reinforcing industry collaboration and engagement across Western India.
A Grand Inauguration & Engaging Industry Showcases:
The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by a soulful Ganesh Vandana and an energetic performance featuring the tutari and dhol, setting an auspicious tone for two days of high-powered networking.
Industry leaders and key stakeholders presented insights and travel opportunities, with Airwings of Nepal, Ren Tours of Bhutan, Bali DMC, Holland America Cruise Line, Booking Cabs, and Experience Kissimmee showcasing their unique offerings. Chhattisgarh Tourism also highlighted its diverse tourism potential, further enriching the discussions.
A notable highlight was the participation of 50 outstation buyers from Mumbai, Thane, Nashik, Kolhapur, Akola, and Sambhaji Nagar, who commended the well-structured format, diverse product mix, and seamless coordination of this first-of-its-kind travel networking event in Pune.
Expanding Across Key Indian Travel Markets:
Spearheaded by Sampan Media Group, TTJ TRAVMART has evolved into one of India’s leading B2B networking and knowledge-sharing platforms, catering specifically to Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets. Now in its 8th edition, the one-day format has successfully connected travel buyers and sellers, fostering meaningful business relationships.
The expansion of region-specific, two-day events began with the launch of East India TRAVMART (EITM) in Kolkata three years ago, followed by South India TRAVMART (SITM) in Chennai last year. With the introduction of West India TRAVMART (WITM), TTJ TRAVMART is further solidifying its presence as a premier networking hub, facilitating engagement and collaboration among travel professionals across key regions of India.
This strategic expansion signifies the beginning of a larger, more comprehensive initiative aimed at connecting travel industry stakeholders through focused regional gatherings, reinforcing TTJ TRAVMART’s commitment to strengthening India’s travel ecosystem.
